GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

Arthur

Arthur describes agent discovery, a shared inventory, step-level traces and policy enforcement.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Evaluate how an agent inventory relates to actual execution. Knowing that an agent exists does not explain which tools it used, who owns it or what a policy decision changed. The trial should bridge those records using one representative workflow.

What this record does not establish

Discovery, inventory, tracing and policy enforcement are vendor-described capabilities. The source does not establish discovery completeness, support for every agent framework or reliable enforcement in your infrastructure.

A

A test worth running

Register a sandbox agent, trace a multi-step interaction and introduce a controlled policy conflict at a tool boundary. Ask an operator to identify the owner, the relevant trace step and the action taken. Revise the policy and compare the preserved outcomes.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. Reconcile a known set of agents with discovered records and identify any unmatched or duplicate identities.
  2. Trace a policy intervention to the exact agent version and tool action rather than only an aggregate dashboard.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

How is discovery coverage measured across endpoints, cloud accounts and private deployments?

02

What deployment, retention and access-control evidence supports the intended use?

03

What underlying assurance documents are available, and which claims remain unverified?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL

A dossier should stand up to scrutiny.
