GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

Cyera

Cyera presents data-security posture management, classification, data-loss-prevention, identity and agent-security offerings, with remediation and managed-service options. Its current product family does not establish one universal entitlement or independently verified protection outcome.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Separate identifying sensitive data from changing its exposure. A posture finding, a native permission change and an agent-runtime intervention are different operations. Select one exposure your team understands and define which component should detect it, which should act and who may authorize the change.

What this record does not establish

The site lists separate DSPM, DLP, Identity and Agent Guardian products plus services and acquisition news. Do not infer availability or licensing across the family. Confirm source coverage, remediation authority, data retention and current contract scope; no marketed accuracy or reduction is validated.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

In a proposed trial, place synthetic data in an over-shared test object, inspect classification and access context, then approve a narrowly scoped correction. Include a legitimate shared object to examine false positives. If an agent product is included, test its action boundary separately rather than treating a data scan as runtime evidence.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An exposure-to-reviewed-remediation record with a legitimate-sharing counterexample.
  2. A product/service entitlement matrix and separate agent-runtime test scope.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Can you provide an exposure-to-reviewed-remediation record with a legitimate-sharing counterexample for the selected configuration?

02

A product/service entitlement matrix and separate agent-runtime test scope. Who owns and reviews this evidence?

03

Which current version, edition, integrations and operating responsibilities are included?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL
