Deepchecks

Deepchecks describes an LLM evaluation platform with version comparisons, auto-scoring, datasets, tracing and production monitoring. Its page lists several deployment models and announces a relationship with Check Point; exact contracting and deployment scope require confirmation.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Make the evaluation unit explicit: a model output, an agent run or a versioned application. An average score is hard to interpret when those units are mixed. Select a release decision and define the item-level evidence a reviewer needs to accept or challenge an automated label.

What this record does not establish

The source combines current platform capabilities, deployment descriptions and corporate-transition messaging. It does not establish parity across deployment options or performance improvement. Keep the historical open-source testing libraries distinct from the proposed commercial LLM platform.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

In a proposed trial, compare two agent revisions on fixed cases including a known failure and ambiguous output. Change the scorer, record which labels change and inspect human disagreements. Introduce a scorer failure and verify that an unavailable assessment cannot masquerade as a successful run.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An item-level version comparison with scorer versions and failed assessments visible.
  2. A current deployment, support and contracting matrix covering the corporate transition.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

An item-level version comparison with scorer versions and failed assessments visible. Can this be demonstrated in the selected environment?

02

A current deployment, support and contracting matrix covering the corporate transition. Who owns and signs off this evidence?

03

Which version, deployment and commercial entitlement are included in the proposed configuration?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.
