Gray Swan

Gray Swan describes security for AI-powered applications, including adversarial testing and defenses.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Distinguish adversarial assessment from runtime defense and from a public model competition. Results from one context do not establish the same boundary in your application. Define the selected integration, case set and observation method before comparing configurations.

What this record does not establish

Testing coverage, model compatibility and runtime defense integration require confirmation. Competition results and vendor attack-success figures are not adopted as product findings.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

Open the evaluation playbook ↗
A

A test worth running

Pair an authorized adversarial case with a benign task on the same synthetic agent build. Inspect the actual action, change one defense setting and repeat both cases. Keep inconclusive and failed executions visible rather than attributing every changed response to an effective defense.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. A testing-versus-runtime scope and configuration record.
  2. Paired observations with replay conditions and failed executions retained.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Can you provide a testing-versus-runtime scope and configuration record for the selected configuration?

02

Can you provide paired observations with replay conditions and failed executions retained for the selected configuration?

03

Which exact version, entitlements, data paths and responsible roles apply?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL

A dossier should stand up to scrutiny.
