GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

HiddenLayer AI Security Platform

HiddenLayer describes AI discovery, supply-chain analysis, attack simulation and runtime security.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Separate discovery, supply-chain analysis, attack simulation and runtime protection into testable boundaries. Your team needs to know which component produces a finding, which component can act and what evidence remains when the model or deployment changes.

What this record does not establish

The vendor's platform description does not establish complete discovery, detection rates, model-format coverage or protection against every attack. Confirm each component and supported environment separately.

Source coverage is a research boundary, not a quality score.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

Use an authorized sandbox model artifact and application. Inspect the supply-chain result, run a controlled attack simulation and observe the runtime behavior. Keep benign tasks in the trial so a blocked request is assessed alongside the application's intended functionality.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. Link a finding to the exact artifact hash, model version or request that produced it.
  2. Document the enforcement boundary and the behavior when the security component is unavailable.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Which model formats and runtime boundaries are supported, and what bypass conditions remain?

02

What deployment, retention and access-control evidence supports the intended use?

03

What underlying assurance documents are available, and which claims remain unverified?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL

A dossier should stand up to scrutiny.
