GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

Maxim AI

Maxim describes prompt experimentation, machine and human evaluation, production tracing and dataset curation. Its documentation separates experimentation, evaluation, observability and data-engine workflows; it does not independently demonstrate a quality, speed or reliability improvement.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Use the evaluation to connect experimentation with the production problem it is meant to improve. Define the task, dataset and human judgment criteria before generating more test cases. A simulation is useful evidence about the configured scenario; it does not by itself represent the distribution of real users or establish a production quality improvement.

What this record does not establish

The preserved overview describes experimentation, machine/human evaluation, tracing and dataset workflows. It does not independently substantiate reliability gains, simulation realism or edition-specific availability. Review evaluator configuration, label provenance, access to recorded content and the exact service bundle used in the trial.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

A

A test worth running

For a proposed pilot, select a small set of reviewed production-like failures and a separate held-out set. Compare two versioned prompts using a programmatic check, a judge and a human review. Trace one failing item back to its context and tool events. Inspect how dataset curation and labeling change the next experiment, keeping generated examples distinguishable from observed user cases.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An item-level comparison preserving prompt, dataset and evaluator versions, with human disagreements and held-out results.
  2. A dataset provenance record separating observed, synthetic and relabeled cases, linked to the release decision and unresolved limitations.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

How are simulation conditions, dataset versions, evaluator configuration and production traces linked to a release decision?

02

Which deployment-specific evidence establishes access, retention, export and deletion behavior?

03

What happens when capture or evaluation fails, and who owns the unresolved gap?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL
