Monitaur

Monitaur describes a centralized inventory of business use cases and related models, with evidence collection from existing systems.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Begin with the business use case rather than treating every model as a separate business decision. Evaluate whether the relationship between a use case, its models and its supporting evidence remains clear when several teams contribute material from existing systems.

What this record does not establish

The captured source supports an inventory and evidence-collection description. It does not establish the completeness of discovery, the reliability of a particular integration or the quality of a model-risk assessment.

Source coverage is a research boundary, not a quality score.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

Register a use case containing two model versions and assign its operating owner. Collect one piece of evidence through a proposed integration and another manually. Replace the integrated artifact and ask a reviewer to identify which version supported the earlier decision.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. Preserve separate identifiers for the use case, model and evidence rather than merging them into one free-text record.
  2. Make a stale or failed evidence collection visible to a named owner and inspect the historical artifact.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Which integrations preserve evidence automatically, and what must an operator supply?

02

What deployment, retention and access-control evidence supports the intended use?

03

What underlying assurance documents are available, and which claims remain unverified?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL

A dossier should stand up to scrutiny.
