Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo currently presents an Agent Trust platform with separate agent-observability and data-observability offerings. The preserved landing page describes monitoring and troubleshooting agents and their underlying data; it does not establish connector-specific coverage or measured incident reduction.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Start by deciding whether your problem is data-pipeline reliability, agent behavior or the relationship between the two. A broad platform proposition can obscure which team will own an incident. Make the trial trace one operational failure across a source table, a downstream answer and the responsible team, rather than accepting a tour of unrelated dashboards.

What this record does not establish

The preserved landing page supports current data and agent observability positioning. It does not establish detailed connector behavior, a complete dependency graph or the claimed financial return in your environment. Request deployment-specific evidence before using either coverage or business-outcome language in a purchase case.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

For a proposed demonstration, delay a safe test dataset that feeds an internal assistant. Separately introduce a tool error while the dataset remains fresh. Ask the vendor to show how the two incidents are distinguished, which dependencies are observed and which are inferred, what the agent trace reveals and how the affected data owner is identified. Record any unsupported hop as a coverage gap.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. A coverage manifest mapping the pilot's data and agent components to observed, inferred or unsupported signals.
  2. Separate evidence for a data incident and a tool failure, with timestamps, ownership and documented detection limits.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Which data and agent paths are observed, and how are unresolved incidents routed to accountable owners?

02

Can a controlled failure be traced to its source, version, owner and reviewed resolution?

03

Which access, retention, export and deletion evidence applies to the proposed environment?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL
