GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

Nabla

Nabla describes clinical AI for healthcare documentation, dictation and coding workflows. Its posted terms address human review, HIPAA-covered use and an Appendix I BAA; contractual applicability and clinical suitability require separate review.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Decide whether a draft-note workflow fits the clinical review process before evaluating time savings. Specify the encounter types, the record that may be written and who signs off. Keep the PHI-processing contract separate from the clinical decision to rely on an output.

What this record does not establish

The sources establish supplier-described functions and posted contractual provisions. They do not establish clinical accuracy, an executed customer BAA, the applicable regional agreement or the effectiveness of de-identification. Review the training-use language rather than assuming a blanket no-training commitment.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

Open the evaluation playbook ↗
A

A test worth running

Use a fictional consultation containing a correction, an uncertain medication history and a statement made by a caregiver. Compare the draft with the scenario, trace how an error is corrected and record who approves the final note. Separately map each service and integration that would receive the recording, transcript or draft.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. Retain the synthetic scenario, draft, corrections and the clinician's review decision.
  2. Identify the governing agreement, service edition and each PHI recipient before a real-data pilot.
  3. Document the de-identified-data terms, customer options and unresolved questions with named owners.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

Nabla's posted terms permit use of de-identified data for training its internal AI model and discuss disclosure of such data in connection with the services. This is not a no-training promise; de-identification practice and applicability to a particular contract require review.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Which service, plan, region and integrations does the proposed BAA cover?

02

What retention, deletion and model-training terms apply to our exact workflow?

03

Who validates outputs and owns the clinical or operational decision?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.
