Panorays

Panorays describes third-party inventory, questionnaire workflows, external attack-surface assessments, contextual risk ratings, monitoring and remediation collaboration. It presents business-impact context alongside technical signals; rating accuracy and comprehensive coverage are not independently established.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Distinguish the vendor service you consume from the internet assets attributed to its organization. External observations can be useful but may concern the wrong domain, a shared host or a service outside your contract. Evaluate attribution and dispute handling before allowing a rating to determine a purchase decision.

What this record does not establish

External signals are not a complete assessment of internal controls. Neither a favorable rating nor questionnaire completion establishes security or legal compliance. Confirm scope attribution, update cadence, licensing, evidence exports and the authority to accept unresolved gaps.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

In a proposed demonstration, review a synthetic vendor with one known domain and a deliberately incorrect asset association. Challenge the association, compare questionnaire evidence and inspect the revised risk view. Assign a remediation item, preserve the vendor response and verify how a monitoring change reopens review.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An asset-attribution dispute joined to service-specific questionnaire evidence.
  2. A remediation and reassessment trail with named decision ownership.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

An asset-attribution dispute joined to service-specific questionnaire evidence. Can this be demonstrated for the proposed configuration?

02

A remediation and reassessment trail with named decision ownership. Who owns and reviews this evidence?

03

Which version, modules, services and commercial entitlements are included?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.
