Pillar Security

Pillar describes security for agentic AI workflows, including visibility, testing and runtime protection.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Connect an AI asset record to a concrete workflow and its permission boundary. Discovery and a threat assessment can prepare a decision while leaving the runtime action uncontrolled. Identify where the chosen component can intervene and which evidence distinguishes that intervention from a warning.

What this record does not establish

Confirm the exact agent, model, tool and data-flow integrations. No complete detection, blocking efficacy or security assurance is independently established.

Source coverage is a research boundary, not a quality score.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

Define a fictional agent with a mock read-only tool and one restricted action. Observe a permitted task, a prohibited action attempt and a policy-change retest. Preserve the asset, tool and policy identities; classify missing action evidence separately from a boundary that demonstrably held.

GovernAtlas editorial proposal. We have not performed this test.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An asset-to-permission-to-enforcement map.
  2. A reproducible action trace with a policy-change retest and unresolved evidence.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Can you provide an asset-to-permission-to-enforcement map for the selected configuration?

02

Can you provide a reproducible action trace with a policy-change retest and unresolved evidence for the selected configuration?

03

Which exact version, entitlements, data paths and responsible roles apply?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL

A dossier should stand up to scrutiny.
