GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

Protegrity

Protegrity describes data protection through tokenization, masking/encryption and policy orchestration, with AI guardrail and agent/person authorization concepts. Its page distinguishes Developer, Team and Enterprise editions and labels example workflows as illustrative.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Evaluate the protected data’s full lifecycle, including authorized reveal. Replacing a sensitive value can preserve a useful relationship while also creating a privileged recovery path. Identify who can reveal the original and what an agent is allowed to request on behalf of a person.

What this record does not establish

Illustrative examples do not establish privacy, semantic fidelity, inference protection or compliance. Verify protection method, edition, supported agent/identity integrations, key ownership and failure behaviour. Do not assume all editions offer identical runtime controls.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

In a proposed sandbox, protect synthetic identifiers, use them in a retrieval task and attempt reveal from both an authorized and a restricted identity pair. Inspect key/token custody, policy inputs, returned fields and events. Include a failed reveal service and a context that changes the permitted purpose.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. A protect/use/reveal/denial record with purpose and identity evidence.
  2. An edition/data-flow/key-custody map and reveal-service outage review.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Can you provide a protect/use/reveal/denial record with purpose and identity evidence for the selected configuration?

02

An edition/data-flow/key-custody map and reveal-service outage review. Who owns and reviews this evidence?

03

Which current version, edition, integrations and operating responsibilities are included?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL
