GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

RiskWatch

RiskWatch describes risk registers, compliance assessments, policy, vendor-risk and physical-security workflows with control cross-mapping and evidence tracking. Its site also describes reporting and different deployment/implementation scopes; exact terms require confirmation.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Check whether control reuse preserves the differences between obligations and sites. A common answer can reduce duplicate work but must not silently imply that the same evidence covers every location or framework. Choose one shared control whose implementation differs across two sites.

What this record does not establish

Marketing comparisons, customer efficiency figures and blanket framework-update claims are not independently verified. Cross-mapping is not proof of equivalent obligations. Confirm content versions, site permissions, manual overrides, deployment support and current commercial scope.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

In a proposed trial, record a control once, map it to two requirements and attach evidence for only one site. Inspect which reports show an unresolved gap, then replace the artifact and review historical versions. Export the score, owner, rationale and evidence dates so the mapping can be challenged outside the application.

GovernAtlas editorial proposal. We have not performed this test.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. A cross-framework/site coverage record with deliberately incomplete evidence.
  2. A versioned scoring/mapping export and named content-update owner.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

A cross-framework/site coverage record with deliberately incomplete evidence. Can this be demonstrated for the proposed configuration?

02

A versioned scoring/mapping export and named content-update owner. Who owns and reviews this evidence?

03

Which version, modules, services and commercial entitlements are included?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL
