Roark

Roark describes simulation testing, call analysis and evaluation for voice AI agents.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Choose the audio path before choosing the quality metric. A correct transcript can hide an agent talking over a caller, failing to yield or claiming that a mock action succeeded. Decide whether the trial includes the actual telephony path, recorded audio or a text simulation, and preserve those differences when comparing a release.

What this record does not establish

Vendor simulation and audio-scoring descriptions are not independent validation of pronunciation, compliance, resolution or leaderboard performance. Do not upload real caller recordings without approved handling.

Source coverage is a research boundary, not a quality score.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

Open the evaluation playbook ↗
A

A test worth running

In an authorized fictional booking scenario, introduce a caller correction and interruption before a mock booking completes. Retain both audio timing and the tool-action trace. Have a reviewer inspect the same case as the automated metric and record disagreement rather than accepting the quality score as a transaction record.

GovernAtlas editorial proposal. We have not performed this test.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. A versioned scenario with audio timing and mock-action evidence.
  2. A reviewer-versus-metric discrepancy and the criterion used to adjudicate it.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

Can you provide a versioned scenario with audio timing and mock-action evidence for the selected configuration?

02

Can you provide a reviewer-versus-metric discrepancy and the criterion used to adjudicate it for the selected configuration?

03

Which exact version, entitlements, data paths and responsible roles apply?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL
