GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

Scytale

Scytale describes continuous compliance, evidence collection, user-access reviews, audit management, trust-center and AI questionnaire/third-party-risk workflows. It combines platform capabilities with human GRC guidance; module and service availability require account-specific review.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Test the relationship between automated collection and human approval. An integration can capture a fact without deciding whether it satisfies a control. Choose a workflow where an expert must explain an exception, the evidence period and the action needed before a reviewer can accept it.

What this record does not establish

Dashboard examples and customer savings are not independent evidence. Human expert support is a service scope, not automatic assurance. Confirm module entitlements, integration privilege, review responsibilities, source freshness and how an export preserves unresolved findings.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

A

A test worth running

In a proposed pilot, connect a sandbox identity source, capture an access-review exception and request expert review. Introduce a disconnected source and inspect how missing collection appears beside failed tests. Trace a generated policy suggestion to its inputs and record the human edit and approval separately.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An access exception connected to collection status and a named review decision.
  2. A platform/service scope matrix and a source-versioned evidence export.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

An access exception connected to collection status and a named review decision. Can this be demonstrated for the proposed configuration?

02

A platform/service scope matrix and a source-versioned evidence export. Who owns and reviews this evidence?

03

Which version, modules, services and commercial entitlements are included?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.
