GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

Suralink

Suralink describes request-to-review workflows for accounting engagements, including request tracking, document collaboration and financial-statement review.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Distinguish collecting a requested file from completing the audit work that relies on it. A collaboration workflow, a workpaper product and an AI review feature can have different entitlements and review responsibilities. Decide which relationships must survive when an engagement is archived or moved to another tool.

What this record does not establish

Request management, Workpaper Suite and AI review are distinct product scopes. Marketing time reductions and claims of document accuracy are not adopted as independent findings.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

Create a fictional engagement with a request, a revised attachment and an unresolved reviewer comment. Run the selected review workflow on synthetic material, retaining any human correction. Export the files and request history and ask a colleague to reconstruct the open work without using active workspace links.

GovernAtlas editorial proposal. We have not performed this test.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An engagement export with original and revised files plus open comments.
  2. A documented human review boundary and contracted feature list.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

An engagement export with original and revised files plus open comments. Can this be demonstrated and exported in the selected configuration?

02

A documented human review boundary and contracted feature list. Can this be demonstrated and exported in the selected configuration?

03

What roles, modules, version and retained-copy boundaries apply at exit?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.
