GOVERNATLAS / PRODUCT DOSSIER

ZenGRC

ZenGRC describes compliance, risk, audit and vendor-management workflows, framework content, configurable scoring and restricted external-auditor access. It also presents GRACI AI for program scoping, control design and audit-structure assistance.

01 / CONTEXT & SCOPE

Understand the proposition.
Define the boundary.

The decision to make

Use a program-scoping exercise to test the boundary between an AI suggestion and a reviewed control. A useful assistant can reduce drafting work while preserving why a proposed control belongs in your program. Define who approves generated content and which internal documents it may use.

What this record does not establish

The site makes strong statements about AI isolation and training; those remain unverified vendor assertions. No universal framework entitlement, implementation speed or security guarantee is established. Confirm current GRACI terms, data flow, access boundaries and feature availability.

02 / YOUR EVALUATION

Turn interest into a useful trial.

A

A test worth running

Propose one well-supported control and one outside the intended program. Inspect the suggested audit structure, revise the scope and record the reviewer’s reason. Give an external reviewer limited access and inspect whether the export contains only the selected evidence and its correct period.

B

Evidence to bring back

  1. An AI-proposed versus reviewed control/scope record.
  2. A restricted-auditor access/export test and deployment-specific AI data-flow review.

03 / DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Read the claim. Inspect the basis.

Each statement retains its classification and preserved source. A vendor assertion is not an independent test result.

04 / BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Better questions.
A clearer decision.

Resolve these with the provider and your own evaluation team.

01

An AI-proposed versus reviewed control/scope record. Can this be demonstrated for the proposed configuration?

02

A restricted-auditor access/export test and deployment-specific AI data-flow review. Who owns and reviews this evidence?

03

Which version, modules, services and commercial entitlements are included?

Regulatory applicability requires a separate, current determination. Inclusion is not certification.

KEEP THE RECORD USEFUL
